The Dialogues on the Creative Economy is an initiative of the Centre for Studies in the Creative Economy, in conjunction with the Postgraduate Programme in Administration at the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA). The project seeks to stimulate debate on the Creative Economy and its possibilities.

There will be five meetings between November and December 2024, featuring experts in the relevant fields. The meetings are open to the entire academic community and other interested parties, and will be held in a hybrid format and streamed on YouTube.

The first meeting, “The Role of Different Languages in Research: Conception, Possibilities and Practices of Audiovisual Media”, was held on 11 April 2024. This session addressed the role of different languages in scientific research, particularly the possibilities and practices of audiovisual media. It featured Adriana Botelho, Jannsen Santana and Rodrigo Capistrano, who shared their experiences and knowledge related to their work in the audiovisual field. It was an extremely rich and valuable opportunity for exchange, contributing to the development of the creative ecosystem in the Cariri region.

The second meeting, held on 11 November 2024, was titled “Evidence-Based Management: Cartographies, Mapping and Indicators in the Cultural and Creative Economy” and featured Prof. Jailson Santana, Prof. Daniele Canedo and Prof. Amanda Ribeiro.

In addition to the support of Kreamundo, these Dialogues are supported by the UFCA Pro-Rectorate of Culture and the UNESCO Chair in Creative Economy and Public Policies.
